7 Pillars of Excellence Process

How we built what builds us.

In the Summer of 2018 Dayton Young Black Professionals had a series of community meetings to get input on what our pillars and focuses would be. The community put up many of the ideas and the Executive Board then narrowed it down to Our 7 Pillars Of Excellence. The core pillars are used in our member’s everyday lives and interactions with the community. Our 7 Pillars Of Excellence are our culture code. The 7 pillars are the 7 areas we create space in and mobilize to be able to attract and retain professionals in the Dayton area.
