DYBP is a millennial organization which aims to empower, inform, and nurture the community through service and philanthropy through an intergenerational approach.

Our Vision:

Empower.

Our founder.

Daj’za Demmings, a Gem City native, grew DYBP from a desire to be for others what she needed and lacked when deciding upon a career path. She has a passion for cultivating community culture and preparing others for success to allow them to pay it forward in West Dayton. Daj’za is a leader and role model for young professionals both locally and beyond.

Our members.

Our young professionals are leaders, setting the example for the generation forthcoming. They give back, not only as servants to the community, but also monetarily. They are purchasing abandoned properties and creating opportunities for those in need. Our members are returning the Gem City to its glory one young person at a time.

Our impact.

DYBP holds workforce development seminars, resume workshops, health fairs, social gatherings, community service events, financial literacy classes, and much more to help put each other in positions to grow. Additionally, DYBP also provides a free after-school program and summer camp in a low-income housing neighborhood in Dayton.

“You never know how or when you’ll leave an impact or how important your example could be for someone else. Talk less and do more.”

- Daj’za Demmings, Founder of DYBP
